Motion First Design Thinking

During my time at Microsoft, I developed a framework for ‘Motion First Design Thinking’. It was developed first as a set of UX motion principles based on Disney’s ‘12 principles of animation’, and further disseminated into 5 key principles of UX motion.
I evangelized the talk into a series that I gave to different product and engineering groups across Microsoft. Eventually it became adopted and retrofitted to lay the motion ground work for Fluent design language engineering and the Windows 10 Creator’s Edition release.

Laying the Groundwork
